Everyone should be quiet near a little stream and listen

5 min of resting upon the false river

1 min

focus on what you can feel

1 min

focus on what you can hear

1 min

focus on what you can smell

1 min

focus on what you can taste

A relatively straight line with some bumps

Arrive.

Unroll.

Roll your spine one vertebrae at a time to match the spine of the dirt.

Rest.

Stand up.

Investigate the tiny tree.

Pluck a mulberry.

Roll it in your hands.

Squish it  between your thumb and index finger.

Pop it in your mouth.

Let the  juices surround your tongue.

Lay back down.

Enjoy.

A forest that's not really a forest

Position your body parallel to the ground

Patiently look up

Wait

Wait

Wait until all traffic noises are gone

While you wait,

Watch the leaves touch one another.

Have you arrived at silence?

Rest in that silence with your eyes open.

Thoughtful leapfrog

Arrange 5 seats. Take a moment on each seat to discover each sense by making a mental list.

5 things I can see

Move

4 things I can touch

Move

3 things I can hear

Move

2 things I can smell

Move

1 thing I can taste

Repeat until you're done investigating.

A false ocean view

Find a pillow for sky viewing

Rest your heavy head on the pillow as your feet reach towards the bottom of the grass bowl

Close your eyes, listen for the rhythm of the

swish     swish     swish     swish     swish     swish     swish     swish

Breath in on a swish

Breath out on a swish

Open your eyes as you continue to breathe with every swish

Allow the tree aura to blend with your own.

Lean into the seat.

Breathe in through you nose.

Breathe out through you mouth.

Lean deeper.

Allow your breath to create space.

Breathe in through you nose.

Breathe out through you mouth.

Softly gaze upwards.

Breathe in through you nose.

Breathe out through you mouth.

Lean deeper.

Repeat .

Child's play

Position yourself to be eye level with the tree. Let your body relax into the wedge, while your gaze intensifies.

Have a staring competition with the tree.
